A tasty local Mexican restaurant that was only a few minutes outside of town! The outside of the building was deceptive as it appeared to be an old Long John Silvers, but the inside was welcoming and well decorated! The service was excellent, and the portions were large! We ordered a side of queso to go with the chips and salsa. For our main meals l, I had the tacos de carne asada, and my sister had the queso barrio tacos. Everything was so flavorful and very filling! Overall a great dining experience.
Went here for lunch and were greeted promptly at the door and seated immediately. Our waitress took our drink order and was back quickly to take our food order. The food came out surprisingly fast. Everything was made well and tasted great. The staff were very friendly the entire time. Our drinks were refilled without us asking. We'll definitely be going back to try some of the other dishes on their quite extensive menu. You can also order beer. I didn't check to see if cocktails were available. I like what they did with the decor. You'd never believe you were in an old Long John Silvers restaurant.
Huge menu, lots of choices. Look for what's on special for drinks or entrees. 32 oz margarita for the wife! 16 or 32 oz. drafts also on sale for happy hour. Spanish language sports on several big TVs, but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Nice, helpful staff, too. Great place to get yer Mexican fix!
Love this place! It’s a regular for my daughter and her friends at Hope; they live there friendly staff (they remember them and their orders, chitchat in Spanish), as well as their delicious food.
Excellent family style small restaurant with great food and speedy service just outside the main drag! Unassuming exterior may let you (dis)miss it - don’t! From exquisite homemade chips and salsa to tacos to pico to quesadillas in the nicest small restaurant atmosphere where YOU get paid attention to...I wish they were in my home town!
I got the beef taco and enchilada, both were fine. Their rice was a little different than the local place by me, but I thought it was real good. And the margarita was great
Great authentic Mexican restaurant with cozy booths and tables as well as outdoor seating. Super affordable and the food was so good! The taco carne asada was the best taco I've had in West Michigan so far and the chili Colorado was perfect. We also had the chili Verde which was tender and flavorful. The food was served with what I can only imagine were corn tortillas made fresh. If not, I need to know where they get them because they were amazing. Our server was very attentive and so fast with the food! We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this place. We were checked on numerous times. The service was great! Highly recommend. Food came out super fast!
